Education
Community Care Somalia (CCS) programs are made to address the enormous demands of Somalia’s impoverished host community and population of urban refugees.
The number of primary school children in low-income communities is declining, necessitating infrastructure improvements and the accomplishment of its primary goals.
Recurrent droughts, a lack of employment opportunities, and an increase in the number of communities becoming internally displaced people have all contributed to the education sector’s severe decline.
Thus, (CCS) focuses on building facilities for education and offering resources for instruction and learning. Our goal is to guarantee that every child in underprivileged communities receives a regular, high-quality primary education, with a focus on the education of boys and girls in particular.
The areas of focus are:
- Construction and/or rehabilitation of learning facilities.
- Preparation of secondary for primary student’s graduates.
- Provision of teaching and learning resources to community schools.
- Construction and/or rehabilitation of primary schools.
- Teachers fee salary payment.
- Consulting school curriculum or syllabus.
- Training of the trainees.
- School feeding.
- Community Care Somalia currently supports 1 district regional lower shabelle schools and over 650 students in Afgoi district Hawatako villages.
