The Deputy Chairperson of Community Care Somalia (CCS), Mr. Mohamed Abdi Mohamed, participated today in a meeting organized by Education for All Somalia (EFASOM) to mark the conclusion of the Global Action Week for Education (GAWE 2025), an international advocacy campaign dedicated to promoting inclusive and equitable education for all.
The meeting brought together education stakeholders, civil society organizations, and EFASOM member institutions to reflect on the activities conducted during GAWE 2025 and to reinforce collective commitments toward achieving inclusive education in Somalia. Discussions focused on strengthening advocacy efforts, improving access to quality education, and addressing barriers that prevent vulnerable and marginalized children from fully participating in the education system.
Global Action Week for Education serves as an important platform to mobilize communities, policymakers, and partners around the shared goal of ensuring that every child has access to safe, inclusive, and quality learning opportunities.
The management of Community Care Somalia (CCS) expressed sincere appreciation to EFASOM for its continued dedication to advancing education development in Somalia and for its leadership in advocating for inclusive education nationwide.
CCS reaffirmed its commitment to collaborating with partners and stakeholders to support sustainable improvements in Somaliaโs education sector and to ensure that no child is left behind.
